There are a small number of places available on the Board Development Agency Scotland's GO! Gold governance course. The course is a two day residential course held on the 3rd and 4th November in Perth. It is followed up by further 2-day residential event at a date to be advised and augmented by distance learning. The course is a must for anyone who is involved in supporting and/or developing the work of their Governing Body, although it is equally relevant for Governing Body members who want to increase their potential.

You will learn alongside other governance staff and our experienced trainers covering:

• Legal Aspects of Governance
• Good Governance Frameworks
• Good Governance by Governing Bodies
• Regulatory and Operational Matters

The price of £1250 plus VAT per delegate includes the two two-day courses, the overnight stay and a complete set of notes, 4 hours of individual mentoring & tuition and access to a helpline. GO! Gold is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management. It is anticipated that candidates will complete the award in 6 -12 months, but candidates are able to set their own pace.
