Build communities with internships

Your organisation can now benefit from a brand new internship scheme aimed at empowering your tenants, boards and communities. We can find, induct and place internees for your organisation from within your community.

Yvonne Atkinson, director at BDA explains how an internship can benefit both parties:

" Internships are aimed a individuals who would like to gain experience in governance and tenant involvement in your community. Internships could be for local resident or graduates. We have close links with boards, tenant groups and housing associations; so we are able to understand the needs of your organisation and match these to the skills of the candidates who are keen to learn and contribute more."

So why should you be considering internships now?

The Tenant Services Authority's (TSA) new regulatory framework is encouraging housing associations and local authority landlords to empower tenants. Internships will help your organisation contribute to the social and economic well being of communities, again part of the TSA's new framework.
