Scotland urged to join TenantBook

We launched TenantBook.co.uk back in June and already we have around 160 people in England and Wales signed up as active user of the site. We would like to urge those in the Scottish social housing scene to take part by going to: www.TenantBook.co.uk . TenantBook offers a social housing specific forum, discussing tenants and social housing issues. TenantBook is a new open, real-time introduction and information networking service set up especially for tenants and tenants' organisations and their housing organisations, in fact, anyone with an interest in social housing.

Hugh Laird, director at the Board Development Agency said:

"Every housing organisation wants to find new ways of involving tenants. Social media offers a new way of maximising feedback and engagement from tenants who may not want to come to meetings. It will not replace existing methods of engagement such as newsletter and tenant and resident organisations and forums, but will greatly enhance stakeholder engagement by complimenting these more traditional forms of engagement"

The rate of change in social housing has never been faster - it's imperative that these changes are discussed and debated in the sector and that all views are heard. The site has been live in England & Wales for some time. It's vital the Scotland is represented too so turn on, tune in, log on and

"start something"
